Studio / Portrait Social

In the studio, as images are captured, renamed with customer’s information for tracking, they can be quickly presented on a computer monitor for customer review. There is no need to remove and insert a card or download the images for customer preview and selection. Studio turnaround time is improved and the photographer need not be concerned with the flash card.
Not being tethered by cable to a computer, as is the case with IEEE-1394 (Firewire) workflows, the photographer can shoot difficult subjects or scenes (such as toddlers) - they have complete freedom of movement.

Wi-Pics Mobile!™ eliminates camera-to-computer tethers, such as Firewire cables, and will automatically transmit captured images directly to a workstation or to the studio's central image server.

Medical & Crime Scenes

Wi-Pics Mobile!™ allows incident photographers to move freely around the scene, capturing important images to be sent back to a medical or law enforcement facility. For those scenes where wireless network coverage is unavailable, inexpensive bridging equipment can be provided as part of an end-to-end solution. Such equipment allows a patrol car, ambulance or incident command vehicle to act as a wireless bridge between Wi-Pics Mobile!™ units and wide-area networks (such as Sprint or Verizon 3G data services).
